We originally purchased this property as an investment. At that time, it was a 192-acre piece of property which was part way through a small subdivision. It had an old run down shack on it and it stretched up a mountain that had no access to it.

The subdivision required us to travel to the property frequently. And, the more we traveled to the area, the more amazed we became by the natural beauty. And the more we discovered the property, the more our love for the land and the area increased. We ended up moving to the property.

Over time, we purchased the property to the north, so that we would be able to include the entire mountain (see 3D map) into our plans, whatever those might become. And then, through an act of serendipity, we purchased another piece of property that allowed us to own the east side of the mountain. When we finally got permission to clear portions of the mountaintop, our excitement grew and we knew we needed to find a way for this property to become a home, not just for us, but for others. It needed to become the incredibly beautiful place we pictured in our minds.

With these hopes, we planted our vineyard on the mountaintop. We believed that this property could be home to super-premium vineyards, which would rival Napa and surrounding areas. And, we felt if we were to encourage others to call this place home, we needed to take the risks ourselves. The vineyard quality has lived up to our hopes and dreams.

Next, we decided to subdivide part of property. It seemed that it would be impossible for the property to achieve the level of beauty we hoped for if it was only us working on it. In subdividing it, we hope that other families will become excited by the inherent beauty and wonderful farmland and begin developing their own dreams. Together, we believe the end result will be more than the sum of the parts.

Come take a tour and see the beauty.
